Nature-Based Therapy
Nature-based therapy invites you to step outside the traditional therapy room and into the grounding presence of the natural world. Research shows that time in nature can reduce anxiety, lift mood, and improve overall well-being by helping us slow down, regulate our nervous system, and reconnect with ourselves. In nature-based therapy sessions, your counselor or recreational therapist will meet you in one of our local parks to guide you through mindfulness-based practices, emotional processing, and skill development. Whether through mindful walks, grounding exercises, or reflective conversation surrounded by trees and open air, nature becomes both a co-therapist and a source of healing—helping you find balance, clarity, and calm.
Intake Appointment Cost: $150
Follow-up Appointment Cost (per hour): $125

Please call or email to inquire about group nature-based activities and programming. Individual sessions are typically one hour, however intensive sessions (3-5 hours) are also available.
